About Us

Hi! I'm Amanda, the owner and founder of Sips to Soirees. Born and raised in South Louisiana, I know the passion Louisianians have for food, family, and fun! Events have been my passion for over 15 years. I've had the opportunity to plan and organize community and corporate events from large scale festivals and conferences to intimate parties. By my side through it all has been my mom and best friend, Candi. For years, we've dreamed of finding our own special niche in the event industry and fell in love when we discovered mobile event services. We've been collecting and building our repertoire over the years, and are so excited to finally launch this business and help other people host their dream events.

Fun Facts About Me

#1) I've been married to the love of my life for 15 years and we have three beautiful children. We also have two bullmastiffs, who are our 4-legged children!

#2) The beach is my happy place. My favorite hobby is paddle boarding.

#3) My love language is chips, salsa, and margaritas.

#4) I have planned events in a professional capacity since 2007. A majority of the events have been larger scale, such as festivals, conferences, and large community events, but I've also had quite a bit of experience with smaller event planning as well. I love throwing a good party and entertaining! I'm also a bit of a hopeless romantic, so I LOVE weddings!

#5) I have a Masters Degree in Business Administration, a Certificate in Project Management and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management. I'm also an inducted member of the National Society for Leadership and Success. I am adamant about bringing the same level of professionalism I've carried throughout my career to the work I do with my Sips' clients.

#6) I turned 40 in September last year ... it may have been a little rough on me! Owning a business like Sips has been a dream of mine for a very long time, especially since 2015 when I came really close to purchasing an existing business, but it didn't end up working out. At the beginning of last year, as my 40th birthday approached, I told my husband I wasn't waiting any longer, and I dived in head first to Sips To Soirees. I am so happy that I did!

The Small Details

Our commitment is providing top notch customer service. We are devoted to being trustworthy and reliable. We believe in sustainability. 95% of our repertoire has be reclaimed, refurbished, or renovated with recycled materials. My dad, James, is the best carpenter and craftsmen around, and he has poured countless hours into these projects. Without him, none of this would be possible.
