A Little History About the Speakeasies:

We are obsessed with the roaring 1920s and love the history of the old Speakeasies. Although the era was know for its lavish parties, flapper dresses, pinstriped suits,  and classic automobiles, it was also the era of prohibition and mob bosses like Al Capone (who had thousands of Speakeasies across the country). Speakeasies were known as America's worst kept secret. During the prohibition era when alcohol was banned in the United States, these establishments would sell alcoholic beverages provided by the bootleggers of the day.
